The female Carolina wren makes a chattering rattle sound. Each phrase is made up of many notes and there is about a second between the phrases.
The winter wren’s chatter is different. The notes are sung individually, close together and seem irregularly spaced.
The house wren’s song is made up of 3 parts. Each bout lasts about 2 seconds with 2-5 seconds between each bout.
